  1. Dear Old Jules:

I’ve been reading the book OLD JULES by Mari Sandoz which, as you probably know, is a biography of her father, who was a pioneer in the western panhandle of Nebraska in the 1880s and 1890s.

Have you read this book? If so, what did you think about it?

    • philebersole: Hi. Glad you’re reading the book. It’s written, of course, by my daughter in one of my earlier incarnations. Books written about us by our kids are always going to contain some distortions and skewed viewpoints, I reckons, but generally I consider it a good tome. Gracias, J
